I haven’t seen much of the world, but I still believe we are living in one of the most beautiful parts of it. We hiked the Hiouchi Trail in Redwoods State Park yesterday. It was an easy hike made fun with a few fallen trees. We had to scramble over one (it was as tall as I am even though it was on its side) and limbo underneath another. The scenery was breathtaking!
We had so much fun that we’ve designated Sundays as Nature Day. We’ve got a book of day hikes in the area, and we hope to do them all.
Check out some photos from the hike. My camera batteries died about ten minutes into the walk, so you won’t even see the stunning Stout Grove. But I’ll be back with spare batteries, so there will be more photos!
